Bimetallic stainless steel thermometer with recalibration screw. Range from 32 to 570 F (0 to 300ºC) dual scale in degrees Fahrenheit and Celsius. 3" face, 1/2" NPT rear connection, 9” stem.
APPLICATIONS
Rear connection bimetallic thermometers are the most used in places where their monitoring is not in a place that is difficult to access, for example in pipes, chillers, hydraulic systems, pumping, as well as food preparation ovens (pizzerias, bakeries, hotels , industrial canteens, pastry shops, pastries).
Safety considerations when using bimetallic thermometers:
1. Always use bimetallic thermometers in conjunction with thermowells in high-pressure processes, corrosive fluids, or high-speed applications.
2. The use of thermowells facilitates the maintenance process whether for checking, calibration or replacement.
3. Bimetallic thermometers should not be continuously exposed to more than 425ºC
